1851 U.K. Census - Charles and Ann Morgan and Family - Sowhill, Trevethin, Monmouthshire
The 1851 census shows Charles Morgan (age 30, born in Trevethin) a coal miner, living with his wife Ann (age 29, born in Nantey [sp? could be Nantyden, six miles south east of Abergavenny]). With them are their children Charles (age 9), Sarah A. (7), James (5), Mary A. (2), and Rachel (8 months). The five children are all born in Trevethin, and are all students.
