Jesse Crumpler This photograph was kindly provided by Patrick Dommett who advised Jesse Crumpler "was quite a progressive farmer, installing the first milking parlour well before the 1939-45 War. He was quite influential in the flax industry, making frequent journeys to Germany and Yugoslavia. When we had our first farm in 1952 between Yeovil and Crewkerne, we grew flax which we hauled to a flax processing factory at Lopen, nearby."
