Passenger Manifest - S.S. Matsonia - Helen Lucille King Sailing from Honolulu on 27 May 1925 to San Francisco. After Helen's vacation in Hawaii --- where she met Albert Wilkinson on a blind date --- she returned to San Francisco. She and Albert wrote letters to each other regularly: Albert had a friend in the post office so he could get the letters as quickly as possible. The idea was that they would stay apart for a year to see if it was true love: by Nov 1925 Helen sailed back to Honolulu, and married Albert on 17 Nov 1925.
