- From an e-mail dated 25 Jun 2008 from Carolyn Wilkinson: "There certainly is confusion on the Jr. etc - Jim's Dad [born 1897] apparently was a Jr. but since his Dad died when he was so young he dropped the Jr. When my Jim was born [1927] he became a Jr. When our son was born Grandpa was still alive so he became JWW III - and of course when our grandson was born he became JWW IV."

James W. Wilkinson Jr., 89, of Kaneohe, retired Hawaiian Telephone director of revenue and earnings, and director of
supply and transportation, died in Kaneohe. He was born in Seattle. He is survived by wife Carolyn, sons James III and
Michael, daughters Karen Killian and Virginia Howard, 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m.
Sept. 17 at Faith/Daybreak Church, 1230 Kailua Road. Aloha attire. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Samaritan's
