Help!

I am a Historian and need the first name of A.Blackmon Crumpler, a Methodist preacher from Clinton, NC. (1863-1952)I have heard that it is either Ambrose or Abner.

To the best of my knowledge, his name was Abner, not Ambrose. I don't have any documents to prove that, but all research, and all researchers notes have him listed as Abner. Hope this helps.
