The Manor House of Lucies
In his book Little Gaddesden: The Story of an English Parish Vicars Bell provides an appendix on the subject of The Manor House of Lucies. The appendix is reprinted here.
We contacted the permissions department at Faber & Faber, the publishers of the book, and they advised us that they were unable to locate any information about the copyright holder. A search for Vicars Bell seems to indicate that he died in the early 1980's. The appendix is reprinted here under our Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) license. Please let us know if you are aware of the present owner of the copyright for this book.
