Loading... Albert "Baba" Wilkinson and Tommy on the Judd Memorial Trail, Nuuanu Valley, Honolulu - 1958 The Judd Memorial Trail was called the "secret trail" by us. I think it was built with Federal funds during the depression, and it starts above Dowsett Highlands and runs up to the Old Pali Road. Along the way there are Norfolk pine, guava trees, and some man-made mud slides down into Jackass Ginger pool. This photo, circa 1958, of Baba and Tommy (last name long forgotten) at the start of the hike.
