Loading... Franklin Mickelsen and Propaganda During the Korean War According to Carolyn Wilkinson, "My brother, Frank, served as Graphics Officer, US Army Psychological Warfare from '51 to' 54. This was a brand new branch in the Army. Among his things after he passed away I found this fat scrapbook filled with all of the leaflets that had been dropped over enemy lines. I kept it and one time we had a United Airlines pilot (Dick Koran) who happened to be a serious history buff stay at Hale Kimo and I asked his advice. He suggested I donate it to the West Point library. I wrote, they were interested, and he delivered to them for me. It is in their Special Collections section. So now it is a piece of history! Better than sticking it up in the attic! I wrote his sons what I had done with it and they were pleased."
