Mr. Jarred was a 1959 Winnsboro Graduate and then graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce with a Bacholors of Science and a Masters of Science Degree. He was a retired Pharmaceutical Salesman, having been employed by several major Pharmaceutical Companies.
Mr. Jarred was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro, served on the Soil Conservation Board, member of the Winnsboro Odd Fellows Lodge #19, Walter's Winnsboro Encampment #93 and the P. Hershal Black Canton #1.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Alisa Ann Jarred and by a sister, Carolyn Jarred Rushing.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-nine years, Mrs. Jeanette Jarred of Winnsboro; son, Don R. Jarred, Jr. of Dallas; sister, Shirley Ann Jarred of Fairfield; step-children, Brian and Pam Allen of Tyler, Lisa and David Boyles of Mt. Vernon, OH, Craig and Debbie Allen of Bedford and Amy and Tony Montgomery of Hot Springs, AR; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Michael, Eric, Lindsey, Kade and Jealin; two great grandchildren, Kaila and Haley.
