Transcription from Barton Parish Church (South): "Sacred memory of William Bushby of Eamont Bridge who departed this life on the 25th day of February in the year of our Lord 1814 aged 68 years. Also Mary his wife who died Decr. 25th 1777 aged 41 years. Likewise Jane his second wife who died August 9th 1798 aged 50 years. Also Susannah daughter of William and Jane Bushby who died April 18th 1797 aged 11 years. And Thomas Bushby their son who died Oct. 4th 1822 aged 39 years."
