| Marriage of Annie Allen (age 22) to Samuel Burns (age 26) - St. James's Church, Collyhurst, Manchester - 28 May 1896 The certificate is very difficult to read: this apparently due to the quality of the microfilm taken by the LDS. This certificate says that Samuel Burns (age 26, widower, labourer, living at 10 Husband Street) married Annie Allen (age 22, spinster, weaver, also living at 10 Husband Street). His fther was Gerald Burns (deceased), a mechanic. Her fther was James Allen (deceased), a guard. Married after banns. Witnesses: William Wilkinson and Mary Ellen O'Connor. |
