In the Name of God Amen, I Beasant CRUMPLER of the parrish of Nottoway and
County Southampton, being Sick and weak in body but of a perfect sound mind and
memory do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament, In manner and
form as followeth Viz.---
Item I Give unto my Son William CRUMPLER five Shillings -
Item I Give unto my [sic] Allin JOHNSON One Shilling Sterling -
Item I Give unto my son Beasant CRUMPLER my land and plantation whereon I now
live Containing one hundred Acres be the same more or less,
Also one his bedstd bed & Furniture one falling Table,
One large pott & hooks,
One Applemill, together with all the Necessaries I have for saving fruit;
All my Coopers Tools,
One half Cross cut Saw, One half of a Grindstone,
Two Sows & ten Pigs, and the increase thereof,
One Pyde Cow & Yearling, One lack heifer, and the increase thereof
One Sorrel mare, New Saddle & bridle,
Two Guns, One Cart & Wheels, One plough frame, & plowing Gier,
Two Augers, Two Chisels, One hand Mill, One Narrow Ax, One Gum chest,
Two plough hoes, One weeding D.o one Grubing D.o
One five Quart Jug, one half Gallon water Jug,
pair Iron wedges, three Chairs,
3 Q.t Bottles, One Clear half-pint Bottle,
All these to him and his heirs forever -
Item I Give unto Allen LITTLE five Shillings -
Item I Give unto Eley JOHNSON five Shillings -
Item I Lend unto my beloved wife Sarah CRUMPLER all the remains of my estate
not above mentioned During her life or Widowhood and at her death or marriage it
is my will and desire that it Should be equally divided between my three
daughters namely Molly JONES, Betsy CRUMPLER & Sally CRUMPLER to them and their
heirs forever
And Lastly I do appoint my son Beasant CRUMPLER and my friend Ju.s CRUMPLER to
be my whole and sole Ex'ors of this my Last Will and Testament making void all
other will by me heretofore made

This will presented in court by Beasant CRUMPLER the executor therein named

And on the Motion of the Said executor who made oath according to Law
certificate is granted him for obtaining a probat thereof in due form giving
